David Warner scored 163 runs off 124 balls, while Mitchell Marsh scored 121 runs off 108 balls, helping Australia post 367 runs for 9 wickets in 50 overs after being invited to bat. For Pakistan, Shaheen Afridi took 5 wickets for 54 runs and Haris Rauf took 3 wickets. In reply, Pakistan was bundled out for 305 runs thanks to Adam Zampa’s 4 wickets for 53 runs, Marcus Stoinis, Pat Cummins (c) taking 2 wickets each. Imam-ul-Haq and Abdullah Shafiq played innings of 70 and 64 runs respectively. This defeat was Pakistan’s second consecutive defeat in the tournament.
